I generally dislike popular music, because most of it is worthless, and those rare songs that aren't are played to death by radio stations.
I generally dislike country music, because much of my experience with it reveals pointless drivel about tractors, pickups, and gettin' lucky because of your shiny chrome bumpers.
There are exceptions to every rule, however. When I first heard So Small on the radio, I was intrigued by the message of the song. When I really listened to it of my own accord, I was sold.
I said I'd be making another Carrie background eventually. Now that I finally got around to it, I couldn't think of any better way to punctuate a wallpaper of her than her own words.
This background is fairly straightforward - The original photo of Carrie is a shot from an indoor photoshoot, and the background is from SXC, so there was a deal of cut-out and color adjustment wizardry, but beyond that it's mostly just framing. The stylistic background behind Carrie is the result of Pyro's Jitter plugin for Paint.NET combined with the built-in Twist effect. The font for the lyric text is Segoe UI, and the font for the signature is Windsong. Mild vignetting and heavy shadowing to smoothly end the upper and lower edges bring this one to a very fine close.
Too true. God do I hate that. Many of a amazing song has been ruined for me because radio stations want money, and they get it by playing on popularity until the life is sucked out of it.
As to "seems", do you mean in the lyric? The correct phrase is "It sure makes everything else seem so small." [ lyrics ] The "artistic" text alignment kinda breaks it up and makes it look weird, but it's spelled correctly.

Great job on it, I really like it. ^^
I'm glad you like it.
