So the story goes a little something like this:
I was chatting with a friend of mine who's also a fellow web-programmer, and I brought up the subject of the blog software that I wrote. I then mentioned the spam attack that hit me on April second, and he told me of the system he uses for his spam-protection: a math equation. He told me that, at the time he researched it, there was no information on spam-bots being able to do math. I asked him if he minded if I implemented his system if ever I needed it, and he explained to me what I needed to know.
Then he said "...double check on that 'spam doing math' thing though..." as a caution.
Well, this is what came into my head, and I had to get it out.
