Well, straight on the heels of Technolografik, I finally got around to a commission I've had on my plate for a little over a month now. This one was for Mike Ryan, of Paint.NET forum fame. He requested the same free-flowing style as seen in Technolografik, and told me flat out to make it not work in IE6. I had no problem with that, so I started with the madness.
The really interesting thing about this one is that the free-flowing structure will switch back to a fixed-height structure if the browser height gets too short for the content or menu - all with straight CSS. It's an interesting combination of height and min-height and positioning and z-index, and it took me about 45 minutes to get it just right, but there it is, completely valid XHTML / CSS, and fully functional in at least Opera, Firefox, and IE7. I haven't put this one through the Browsershots.org test yet, but usually, if it works in those three, it works in most other modern browsers.
Yeah, that's right, it's another straight-to-live site! You can check it out here: Anhelo Designs
